Today Bonnie-Mae brand in some tadpoles! We are excited to watch them grow!

Jump Jam Performance

At the end of Term Three we performed a Jump Jam routine for our whanau and friends.

Darth Vaders and Storm Troopers
were exercising to the Star Wars tune.

  Some of us were picking coconuts in the Pacific
  Islands.

Visit to Matahiwi Marae

Today The Explorers visited Matahiwi Marae. We wanted to explore the Wharenui and what the different parts mean. Thank you to our Kapa Haka Group for your support to welcome us on to the Marae.

Hopping on to the bus. Many of us have been wanting to have a ride on the bus.

      We are inside the Wharenui listening to Mr Mulligan tell us bout the different parts. We did like the carvings. 

Exploring Outside.

We love building huts, digging with the dinosaurs, building and looking after our garden.

We loved reading to our buddies from Room 9.

A letter from the guard.

The guard of our classroom left us a letter. We were so excited to hear about what happens in our room in the night. 

What happens in our class when we are at home?

Erin, Makaia and Harry built a man with the blocks and cylinders. Hatbands guard in our room at night when we are all in bed. MMM.... what did he see?

Barefoot sevens

Some of our class played barefoot sevens against other schools last Thursday. We all played hard, some of us scored tries, got tackled and tackled our opponents. It was a fun day!

Cam's helicopter ride.

Cam and Cory arrived at school today on a helicopter!

It was so cool to see the helicopter land. It was very noisy and it made the ground shake!

Explorers

We love to explore lots of different activities!

Here we are building roads, bridges, tunnels, going on an adventure to town, making puppet shows and using I-pads to read Sunshine classic stories.
